NORTH LAKES HALF MARATHON & 10KM 2025

Wild Deer Events are teaming up with our friends at Events up North/Timing up North to bring you the North Lakes Half Marathon & 10KM on the ROADS in the outstanding Lorton Valley in 2025!

This popular, established event has had a breather in 2024 and we aim to bring it back even stronger in 2025. There are fast routes starting and finishing near Cockermouth Town Centre, taking in this wonderful part of the Lakes. Most of the routes are on the quite country lanes through the stunning Lorton Valley with epic views across to the Lakes.

All finishers will get a Medal, Merchandise, snack & drink.

There is the option to purchase an Event T-Shirt for £12 when you sign up.

Timing

The event has LIVE chip-timing with Timing Up North.

Parking

There is ample parking in Cockermouth Town Centre. We will be providing a free shuttle bus from Cockermouth Main Street in the town centre to the start, which is just 1.2 miles away, before and after the event, or you can jog/walk if you want to warm up or cool down. 

The shuttle bus will be running from approximately 7.30am until 9.30am and will be confirmed on the Event Information emails nearer the time.
