THE KINGDOM OF NORTHUMBRIA COASTAL ULTRA 2025 - CLOSED

This spectacular 54km Ultra Trail Run starts near Bamburgh Castle and takes you past many of the other historical coastal landmarks of Northumberland (formerly known as the Kingdom of Northumbria) including Beadnell Harbour, Dunstanburgh Castle, Craster Village & Warkworth Castle. The finish will be at the beautiful DRURIDGE BAY COUNTRY PARK.

The routes are FREE to view and download, please do not click any pop ups.

For this A-B event runners will either need to book the shuttle bus to the start at Bamburgh or get dropped off. There will be a bag drop at registration.

Feed Stations

There will also be 3 well-stocked feed stations on route.

Mandatory Kit List

For safety, runners must run with a backpack with mandatory kit including water/fluids, charged mobile phone with emergency contacts saved (ICE) some food/gels, headtorch (if expecting to finish after 4.30pm) and a lightweight jacket.

Start Times

There will be a 2 start times which we expect to be 8am and 10am however this will be confirmed nearer the time.

Timing

There will be Live Chip-Timing through Timing Up North.

The Finish

All finishers will get a Medal, exclusive Wild Deer Ultra Beanie Hat, snacks & drinks

Parking

Car Parking will need to be paid by all competitors at Druridge Bay Country Park.
