We are excited to be returning for the 7th year of these popular winter trail runs. Choose between a 5 mile or 10 mile route around this beautiful yet challenging North East location.

💧 Derwent Reservoir
This stunning reservoir, owned by Northumbrian Water, sits right on the border of County Durham and Northumberland. The mixed terrain routes showcase the very best of this scenic area.
🗺️ Routes
The courses include a mixture of firm trails, woodland paths, grassy sections, and a small amount of road running.
🐾 Cani-cross
- 5 Mile – Canicross friendly (one controlled dog per runner).
- 10 Mile – Not suitable due to extended sections on roads.
🕖 Start Times
- 10 Mile – 9:30am
- 5 Mile – 9:45am
⏳ Cut Off
Due to road closures, there is a 2.5-hour cut off for the 10 Mile event.
⏱️ Timing
Live chip-timing will be provided by Timing Up North.
