Our Long distance triathlons rival any Ironman Type Event and are set in the stunning natural beauty of Druridge Bay Country Park, Northumberland. From the calm waters of Ladyburn Lake to scenic coastal rides and flat, picturesque running trails — this is your test of true GEORDIE grit.

Registration
You will collect your race pack at registration, they aren't posted out in advance.
You will be emailed in the weeks leading up to the event with your Bib Number and all race information.
Registration times are:
Saturday 22nd August - 4pm until 7pm
Sunday 23rd August - 4.45am until 6.45am
Bike racking is from 4.45am on Sunday 23rd August - there is no bike racking the day before.
Every GEORDIEMAN finisher receives:

Bike Feed Stations:
Half - 28 miles
Full - 28 miles | 57.5 miles | 84 miles
Run Feed Stations:
Each Lap - 3.25 miles, 5.75 miles and 6.55 miles
Amenties
There are toilets at the visitors centre for Druridge Bay Country Park as well as additional porta-loos around the event village and in transition.
Northumberland Coffee will be there from 4.45am for your pre-race coffee fix.
Transition
There will be a secure transition area for triathletes and duathletes. Your bike number must be on your bike before you enter transition and have your helmet visible.
After the race your Bib Number and your Bike number will be checked before you are allowed to leave transition so please keep them on.
Recommended Kit
We recommend the following checklist for the transition area:
· Bike hat/Helmet – No hat no race!
· Spare Inner Tubes, bike pump & tools
· Water Bottles
· Event Clothing
· Swim Goggles
· Race Number Belt
· Sunglasses, sun-cream, running hat/cap
· Favourite nutrition/gels/drinks
Race Pass
A British Triathlon Race Pass is not required for this event.

6.15am – Briefing for all Geordieman Half Triathletes & Aquabikes by the waterside
6.20am – Geordieman Half Wave 1 Start
6.25am – Geordieman Half Wave 2 Start
6.25am – Briefing for all Full Geordieman Triathletes & Aquabikes by the waterside
6.25am – Briefing for all Geordieman Duathletes on the footpath, just up from the swim start
6.30am – Geordieman Full and Duathletes Start
8.30am – Swim Only Start
1pm – Awards Ceremony – Half Distance Triathlon, Aquabike, Duathlon and Aquathlon
5pm – Cut off for Full Geordieman Cycle Finish
6.30pm – Awards Ceremony – Full Distance Triathlon and Aquabike
10pm - Cut off for Full Geordieman
