HARTLEPOOL HALF MARATHON – 2026 

We are delighted to introduce the very first Hartlepool Road Half Marathon for 2026 which will be supported by Stride North East!

A brand-new addition to the North-East running calendar with a flat and fast 13.1 mile course, perfect for chasing a PB.

Event Distance

Half Marathon – 13.1 miles

The ROUTE is subject to change due to work being carried out at Hartlepool Marina and the new Highlight building.

Expect a flat (200ft) and scenic coastal course ideal for all abilities.

There will be a strict 3 hour cut off due to the extensive road closures in place. (13 minute miles)

Cani-cross

Please note that this event is NOT canicross friendly.

Start Time

Half Marathon – 9am

There will be Live Chip-Timing provided by Timing Up North.

The Finish

All finishers will receive:

A Metal Medal

Snacks & a drink

Parking

Free parking will be available for participants at Hartlepool Marina/Royal Navy Museum.
