In 2024 we return to this truly outstanding location which provides the backdrop for these testing trail runs, which is supporting NE Youth Charity.

Alnwick is a popular Northumberland town, made famous by the stunning Alnwick Castle, which was used to film Harry Potter and Downton Abbey. Starting and finishing outside of Alnwick Castle makes this a truly outstanding location for our Half Marathon and 10km trail runs which take in Hulne Park and Priory, as well as some of the castle grounds.

Their vision is to make sure all young people have the opportunities they deserve, and to get involved in their communities, enjoy their lives and achieve their potential. They do this by providing a high-quality youth offering across the region through their own direct youth work services and by working with and supporting our member network of organisations working with young people.
