BAMBURGH CASTLE CYCLE SPORTIVE 2024 - 50km, 100km & 100 Mile
View ResultsWe return to the majestic Bamburgh Castle in the Spring of 2024 for the 4th year of this popular North East Sportive. There will be the main 100Km event starting and finishing at Bamburgh and taking in Seahouses, Embleton, Alnmouth, Warkworth and Amble. This year we will have a fully stocked feed station near Acklington with drinks, pastries, cakes, chocolate, and sweets. We will also be holding a 50Km Ride for those wanting a shorter ride or who are new to Sportive riding which will head down to Craster and back from Bamburgh. NEW for 2024 - tackle 100 miles around the Northumberland Coast.
Riders can start any time between 7.00-9.00am. All finishers will get Wild Deer Merchandise, a medal, snacks and drinks. An event t-shirt can be purchased for £10 when you register.
All cycles will be well signed as well as a GPX file being available. Cycle hats must be worn, and the Highway Code must always be adhered to.
