  • We try to make our routes as easy as possible and are available on our website before the event as well as explained during the race briefing on the day so please make sure you listen. Our routes are well marked with signs on the day and we have marshals at various points on the route however there may be various distances on the day so don’t follow the runner in front of you. The colour of the arrows to follow for each event is sent to all participants in the Event Information email a few days before the event along with links to the routes with GPX files which can be downloaded. The navigation of the course is the responsibility of the participant.

  • In the unlikely event of a cancellation, an alternative date will be sought and the event will take place on that date. If you are unable to make that date your entry can be transferred to another Wild Deer Event.

If you don’t reach the cut off time, you may be asked to step down from the race. The cut off times are set with the participants safety in mind as well as the volunteer marshals who stand on the course for a long period of time to allow the event to go ahead. We may have to withdraw some marshals from the course in some instances, for example if it gets too dark, for their safety.
