Terms & Conditions

Each entrant must agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

  1. We are a Member of the Association of Running Clubs (ARC) and abide by their rules and are covered by their Liability Insurance up to £10 million. For Multisport Events we also have cover up to £10 million.
  2. The race is organised by Wild Deer Events Ltd and is ran under UKA Laws.
  3. Each entrant accepts that the organisers of the event will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses which may arise as a consequence of their participation in this event.
  4. Participants must only compete in this event if they are in good health and will only complete at their own risk. Runners agree to forgo their place in an event if they develop any Covid-19 symptoms before the event.
  5. Participants agree to have personal details about them stored on a database for entry processing purposes.
  6. We regret that all entry fees are non-refundable but credit may be transferred towards a future event. This will only be possible 14 days prior to the event for trail runs and 1 month prior to the Windermere Triathlon. Geordieman Triathlons Ltd is a seperate business to Wild Deer Events Ltd and have their own T&C’s. Geordieman Entrants must give 3 months notice to defer. There is a £5 administration charge to change events.
  7. If the event is cancelled due to the weather or local or national Covid lockdown restrictions an alternative date will be sought. The Event will then take place on that new date. If you are unable to attend the new date you may transfer your number to another Wild Deer Trail Event with no charge. No refunds are given in the event of a cancellation or postponement under any circumstances.
  8. Wild Deer Events retain the right to refuse entry to anyone.
  9. Participants should be capable of running the full distance of the event. We will not accept entries from those intending to walk the whole way.
  10. Under UKA Rules, competitors should be over 16 years of age on the day of the race.
  11. On race day participants must follow all instructions given from event officials, stewards/marshals, police, fire, first-aiders or ambulance staff throughout the duration of the event.
  12. Failure to follow any event rules may lead in disqualification, loss of prize money and the removal from the official results.
  13. Race numbers may only be worn by original entrants, anyone found running in somebody else’s number will be excluded from the results and banned from future events with us.
  14. The courses are generally unsuitable for prams, pushchairs & wheelchairs. Competitors are also unable to run with dogs unless the venue allows them. We will then only accept entrants running with one dog on a harness and under full control
  15. Headphones are not to be worn under any circumstances.
  16. Entrants who are unhappy with any aspect before, during or after an event should contact us at info@wilddeerevents.co.uk
