Terms & Conditions

Each entrant must agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

  1. For all of our Events we have £10 million Public Liability Insurance.
  2. The Events are organised by Wild Deer Events Ltd and are ran under UKA & BTF Laws.
  3. Each entrant accepts that the organisers of the event will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses which may arise as a consequence of their participation in this event.
  4. Participants must only compete in the event if they are in good health and will only complete at their own risk.
  5. Participants agree to have personal details about them stored on a database for entry processing purposes.
  6. We regret that all entry fees are non-refundable but credit may be transferred towards a future event. This will only be possible 14 days prior to the event for all trail runs, Duathlons, Triathlons and 1 month prior to Ultra’s and the Windermere Triathlons & Duathlons. There is a £5 administration charge to change/defer events. Geordieman Triathlons Ltd is a separate business to Wild Deer Events Ltd and have their own T&C’s. Geordieman Entrants must give 3 months notice to defer.
  7. If the event is cancelled due to the weather or local or national Covid lockdown restrictions an alternative date will be sought. The Event will then take place on that new date. If you are unable to attend the new date you may transfer your number to another Wild Deer Trail Event with no charge. No refunds are given in the event of a cancellation or postponement under any circumstances.
  8. Wild Deer Events retain the right to refuse entry to anyone.
  9. Participants should be capable of completing the full distance of the event. We will not accept entries from those intending to walk the whole way.

  12. Failure to follow any event rules may lead in disqualification, loss of prize money and the removal from the official results.
  13. Race numbers may only be worn by original entrants, anyone found running in somebody else’s number will be excluded from the results and banned from future events with us.
  14. The courses are generally unsuitable for prams, pushchairs & wheelchairs. Competitors are also unable to run with dogs unless the venue allows them. We will then only accept entrants running with one dog on a harness and under full control
