WINDERMERE TRIATHLONS & DUATHLONS 2024
Enter RaceWe are delighted to announce that our signature Triathlon Event returns at the end of June 2024 to the shores of Lake Windermere and as last year we are also offering Sprint (SHORT) & Standard Duathlons and new for 2024 - Sprint & Standard Aquabike events. All SPRINT (SHORT) EVENTS will be on Saturday 29th June and all STANDARD EVENTS on Sunday 30th June.
WATER QUALITY AT LAKE WINDERMERE
PLEASE BE ASSURED THAT THE WATER HAS BEEN REGULARLY TESTED BY OUR FRIENDS AT GREAT NORTH SWIM, AND THE WATER IS SAFE TO SWIM IN HOWEVER WE WOULDN'T RECOMMEND DRINKING THE WATER.
The Event is based at the beautiful Cockshott Point where the Transition area overlooks the breath-taking lake. Following the Swim in the Lake the Cycles both go to Ambleside where the Novice & Sprint turn back and the Standard continue around the whole of Lake Windermere. All running is on paths and trails around the shoreline near Cockshott point.
Please be aware that the Sprint and Novice distances events are on Satuday 29th June 2024 and the Standard distance events are on Sunday 30th June 2024.

Sprint (SHORT) Triathlon (and Relays) - 750m swim, 20k cycle, 5k run
Novice Triathlon - 350m swim, 20k cycle, 2.5k run
Standard Triathlon (and Relays) - 1,500m swim, 48k cycle, 10k run
Sprint (SHORT) Duathlon - 5k run, 20k cycle, 2.5k run
Standard Duathlon - 10k run, 48k cycle, 5k run
Sprint (SHORT) Aquabike - 750m swim, 20k cycle
Standard Aquabike - 1,500m swim, 48k cycle
Our Standard Duathlon Event is a British Triathlon Age-Group Qualifier so please enter here.
The runs are around the paths, trails and shoreline of the Lake with some outstanding views and perfect for spectators.
There's plenty camping, accomodation & parking nearby and the event also has FREE PHOTOGRAPHY.
