Wild Deer Events travel into the Midlands and what better place than the majestic Sherwood Pines near Mansfield, just 20 minutes from the A1 and M1.

Sherwood Pines

Immersed in Robin Hood history and surrounded by statuesque pine trees, Sherwood Pines is set within 3,300 acres of Nottinghamshire woodland and is packed with activity trails, play areas, bike hire, wild running and mountain biking trails. It’s diverse and family friendly environment makes it the perfect location for our event in December.

Distances

We have something for everyone with our sprint (short) and standard off road duathlons, 10km trail run and family 1 mile events to choose from. The 10km trail run is canicross friendly.

Festive Sprint (Short) Duathlon - 5km Run - 15km Cycle - 2.5k Run

Festive Standard Duathlon - 10km Run - 30km Cycle - 5k Run

The bike course is suitable for any off road bike.

Timing

There will be Live Chip-Timing through Timing Up North.

The Finish

There will be a Medal, Event Merchandise, mince pies, chocolates and a drink for all finishers.

There is the option to purchase an Event T-Shirt for £10 when you sign up.

Parking

There is a subsidised car parking charge on site for the event which is paid after the event, at the Forestry England pay machines.
