WILD HYBRID EDINBURGH - DALKEITH COUNTRY PARK.

The first Scottish WILD HYBRID Event will take place just South of Edinburgh at Dalkeith Country Park, a privately owned 1000-acre estate steeped in history. Just off the Edinburgh Bypass at the top of the A68 so handy for lots of Scottish Competitors and not too far for any North Easterners wanting a trip over the Border.

The Event area will be outside the Palace with running on the paths and trails through beautiful woodland on the estate.

This PAIRED EVENT is for all fitness levels and competitors will take part in the following:

• 1km TRAIL RUN - Start your journey with a quick run through natures trails.
• WORK STATION 1 - 50 SANDBAG SQUATS with your partner.
• 1KM TRAIL RUN - Keep the momentum as you dash through another km of trails.
• WORK STATION 2 - 20 ATLAS STONES OVER WALL with your partner. Challenge your lifting prowess by hoisting these stones over a wooden barrier.
• 1KM TRAIL RUN - Try and catch your breadth with another scenic run around the venue.
• WORK STATION 3 - 50 KB DEADLIFTS with your partner. Engage your core and lift with precision.
• 1KM TRAIL RUN - Another stretch to keep your heart rate up and the scenery changing.
• WORK STATION 4 - 100metres of FARMERS CARRYS - Grab your weights and showcase your grip strength and balance.
• 1KM TRAIL RUN - Almost there, keep pushing through the trails.
• WORK STATION 5 - 50 DOUBLE DUMBBELL STOH - SHOULDER TO OVERHEAD movements with your partner to cap off your upper body work strength test.
• 5KM FINAL TRAIL RUN - a longer run to test your stamina and mental fortitude.

Competitors will be emailed their Start Time 1 week before the Event and it may be anytime between 8am and 4pm.

All finishers will get a unique WILD HYBRID PATCH & a BUFF. There will also be product from our Nutrition Partner KINETICA Kinetica Sports | World Innovators in Sports Nutrition

Parking will be £4.00 at the venue and Event Photography can be purchased from our Partners.
