BEYOND NEWCASTLE 55KM ULTRA RUN & 25KM TRAIL RUN

ULTRA NORTH returns in 2025 with new branding as BEYOND NEWCASTLE. Wild Deer Events will again be teaming up with The Great Run Company to help deliver the fabulous courses.

Are you ready to go beyond your usual route? With an accessible city centre start and finish, plus an inclusive everybody’s-welcome vibe, Beyond Newcastle overcomes the standard barriers to trail running. Walkers and runners of all ages and abilities can choose from two distances: 25km of urban, railway and woodland trails or, if you’re looking to push yourself even further, our 55km ultra event. Whichever one you choose, expect much-loved views, meticulous organisation and incomparable finish line feels. Prepare for a running adventure beyond your wildest dreams, beyond the tarmac, Beyond Newcastle.
