Wild Deer Events venture South to Essex and the majestic Hanningfield Reservoir which sits between Billericay and Chelmsford. The Reservoir is part of a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest and as such any events must be held in May. We therefore bring you a SPRINT & STANDARD TRIATHLON on 11/5/2024 as well as 750m & 1500m Open Water Swims.

Swimming in the beautiful waters, cycling on the quiet roads around the Reservoir and finishing with flat runs on trail paths through woodland.

SPRINT (SHORT) DISTANCE - 750M - 25KM - 5KM

STANDARD DISTANCE - 1500M - 38KM - 10KM

Alongside the Triathlons we will also have some OPEN WATER SWIMS of 750 metres or 1500 metres for those wanting to swim in Hanningfield Reservoir. There will be safety boats & first aid at the waters edge throughout the event.

All entrants will get a MEDAL, WILD DEER MERCHANDISE (hat, buff, waterbottle, socks or coffee mug), A SNACK & A DRINK. There will also be FREE PARKING.

Due to the reservoir being a Site of Scientific Investigation, dogs are not permitted anywhere around the reservoir.
